Important: participants in a special military operation will be able to use the instant document transfer service

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In the Federal Notarial Chamber, notes «Russian newspaper», reported the growth of such a notarial act as the «teleportation» of documents: the instant transfer of official papers from one city to another. This service is especially in demand by participants in a special military operation. The system works like this: a notary public converts a paper document into a digital format while maintaining legal force. In other words, printed paper remains printed paper, albeit now electronic. Immediately, the document is transferred via digital channels to another notary in any city in the country. The second notary turns the electronic version back into «paper» and gives it to someone who is looking forward to the document.

Now «notarial teleportation» of documents has acquired additional importance — it is in demand by participants in a special military operation. In particular, among the wounded soldiers who are being treated in hospitals, — stressed in the FNP. — This may be required, for example, to apply for government services, benefits, insurance reimbursement, as well as other pressing legal issues.

So, for example, many of those who are in Moscow medical institutions come from other Russian cities. For them, the opportunity to meet with a notary in the hospital and promptly, without leaving its walls, send the family a power of attorney, consents and other important documents. It is noteworthy that the help of notaries for our heroes is free. Recall that the notary has introduced benefits for participants in the SVO. They are completely exempt from paying for services of a legal and technical nature for a number of notarial acts, including certification of the equivalence of an electronic document to a paper one, as well as the transfer of electronic or paper documents to individuals and legal entities.

In general, in the first quarter of 2023, Russians used notarial actions to convert a paper document into a “digit” and vice versa 887.5 thousand times. Over the past five years, the demand for «teleportation» has grown by more than 4.5 times. An everyday example: sending a certificate through a notary and then sending it to a university as part of an admissions campaign.
