In Crimea, a businessman will be responsible for the purchase and storage of unlabeled tobacco products

In the Sovetsky district, a criminal case regarding the acquisition and storage of unlabeled tobacco products was sent to court.

As established during the investigation, in mid-May 2023 the accused purchased tobacco products unmarked with excise stamps from an unidentified person with a total value of more than 477 thousand rubles, which he subsequently stored and transported in a car for the purpose of further sale— reported the prosecutor’s office.

The man’s actions were stopped by internal affairs officers. The criminal case was sent to the Sovetsky District Court for consideration on the merits.
