In Crimea, copyright holders of previously registered real estate are identified
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Anna Anyukhina recalled that active work continues in the Republic of Crimea to identify the copyright holders of previously registered real estate. The Deputy Prime Minister outlined the goals and objectives of Federal Law No. 518-FZ, according to which local government bodies, in order to enter information into the Unified State Register of Real Estate (USRN) and administer property and land taxes, are engaged in identifying property owners who have not re-registered property rights according to Russian laws
Initially, municipalities and the State Registration Committee had a huge amount of work ahead of them: in August 2021, the Unified State Register of Real Estate contained more than 1.7 million objects without rights that were not systematized. For each city and district, lists of real estate objects were compiled, which municipalities had to check and, according to the procedure established by law, find out whether the object actually exists, whether it belongs to this or that person, and so on.,” explained Anna Anyukhina.
To date, local authorities of Crimea have analyzed 98.5% of these objects in order to identify copyright holders and have already systematized them. About 500 thousand objects from the initial general list have already been fully processed, that is, rights for them have either been registered, or information about identified right holders has been entered into the Unified State Register of Real Estate, or after checking the information, some objects have been removed from the cadastral register, since they were de facto non-permanent buildings.
