Mineral wool will be produced in Crimea

A mineral wool production plant will appear in the village of Gvardeyskoye, Simferopol district. The construction of the plant is being carried out thanks to federal support measures. Minister of Industrial Policy of the Republic of Crimea Anushavan Aghajanyan took part in the ceremonial laying of the “time capsule” with wishes to preserve and enhance the achievements of Crimea from the future Tavrichesky Mineral Wool Plant to descendants.

The industry of Crimea is developing, new enterprises are being created, production is being modernized. The mineral wool production plant will be the first in Crimea; we have not previously produced mineral wool. The volume of investments within the framework of the project will amount to 950 million rubles. Thanks to the latest production lines, it is planned to produce 30 thousand tons of products annually. Completion of the mineral wool plant is planned for mid-2025. I would like to note that construction is being carried out thanks to a preferential loan provided by the Russian Industrial Development Fund,” the minister’s press service commented.
