In Crimea, grapes are pruned

In the Republic of Crimea, grape pruning was carried out at 57% of the planned in 2022 year area. This was announced by the Acting Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Alime Zaredinova. Crimean agrarians carried out work on pruning grapes on more than 9 thousand hectares.
The planned area for pruning vine bushes this year will be more than thousand hectares. Work on pruning grapes in the Crimea started at the end of December last year. Today, agricultural producers are doing everything to ensure the maximum, high-quality harvest of berries , the press service of the Acting Head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Crimea quotes.
Alime Zaredinova also added that the region is fully using the possibilities of extensive mechanization of bush care and tillage, all conditions have been created for successful protection against pests and diseases of grapes.
Recall that the Ministry of Agriculture of the Crimea is accepting documents for obtaining subsidies in the viticulture and winemaking industry. Reception of documents started 18 February and will last until March
of the year. This year, state support to viticulture subjects of the republic will be provided in the amount of 680 million rubles. The area of planting vineyards in the 2022 year, according to the indicator under the state program, will be 800 hectares.
