Due to the increase in the number of patients with COVID- who need inpatient treatment, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea is increasing the number of beds for hospitalization of patients with coronavirus and community-acquired pneumonia . This was told by Deputy Head of the Republican Ministry of Health Anton Lyaskovskiy.
Before the increase in the incidence in Crimea, there were 119 beds for hospitalization of patients with COVID-19. Over the past two weeks, the bed fund has been increased to 266 beds. From 10 August, it is planned to deploy more 10 beds at the base of the Bakhchisaray the central district hospital , — said the deputy minister.
If necessary, the increase in the number of beds will be continued.
