CrimeaPRESS reports:
Regular road checks took place in the Black Sea and Kirov regions.
In Crimea, employees of the Federal Bailiff Service, together with the traffic police, check the fulfillment of duties by drivers regarding the timely payment of fines for violating traffic rules. The purpose of the joint raid event “Debtor” is to identify persistent defaulters and apply measures against them to pay debts. On April 3, regular raids took place in the Black Sea and Kirov regions.
Such raids are one of the most effective tools for working with debtors. Unfortunately, not all debtors are ready to voluntarily repay existing debts. Bailiffs and traffic police held preventive conversations with drivers, handed out information leaflets and told how to find out about debtssaid the traffic police.
Acting head of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Chernomorsky district, Sergei Kurakulov, said that during the operational and preventive event “Debtor”, 10 residents of the district were identified who had arrears in paying administrative fines.
Traffic police recommend that citizens do not delay paying the fine, because if you do it within 20 days, you can pay only half the amount. Otherwise, if the payment is overdue for 2 months, the driver may be fined again or assigned to compulsory work or even subject to administrative arrest for up to 15 days.
