In Crimea, state traffic inspectors and rescuers helped motorists get out of snow and ice captivity

Heavy snowfall in Crimea did not stop lovers of car adventures. Some people relied too much on their own strength and professionalism, others believed in the capabilities and “super cross-country ability” of their “iron horse.” All this led… to calls for help. Of course, they were all heard.
On Saturday afternoon, the emergency department received information that in the area of the village. Verkhniye Oreshniki needs the help of rescuers in evacuating a car that, due to icing on the roadway, slid into a ditch and got stuck there. There were 4 people in the car, two of them were minors.
Employees of the Simferopol emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» worked on the spot. Using rigging equipment, the car was removed from the ditch onto a paved road. No one needed medical attention— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Also, employees of the Belogorsk and Leninsky emergency rescue teams of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS» went out to provide assistance to motorists.
The traffic police also provided assistance. At night, during the snowfall on the Angarsk Pass, the driver of a Toyota car asked the State Traffic Inspectorate for help.
A man heading from Alushta to Simferopol explained that on the way the vehicle drove into a hole. As a result, the wheel punctured. The police immediately came to the man’s rescue. They found a compressor and tried to pump up the tire. But the puncture turned out to be more serious. Then traffic police inspectors assisted the citizen in calling an auto repairman to the scene. After replacing the wheel, the driver was able to continue driving his car. He thanked the police for their help and support— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
