On January 21, 2015, by order of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, it was decided to create the State Treasury Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea”, which became part of a single powerful structure — RSChS, which marked a new milestone in the history of the development of fire fighting on the Crimean Peninsula.
Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea» carried out 36,538 trips, as a result of which 1,382 people were rescued, as well as the property of the Republic of more than 819 million rubles.,” noted the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Crimea.
The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Sadakliev, reported that over 9 years of work, the units of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea” carried out 36,538 trips, as a result of which 1,382 people were rescued, as well as property of the Republic of more than 819 million rubles. Also, 51 units of special equipment were purchased, equipped with all the necessary emergency rescue equipment.
7,891 fires and fires were successfully extinguished, 616 visits were carried out to assist in eliminating the consequences of road accidents, and 6,827 “door-to-door” preventive inspections were carried out. To date, 30 fire departments, 3 separate posts, and a fire-technical center have been created and operate, which ensure safety in 253 settlements with a population of more than 220 thousand people. The staff number of employees of the Institution is 622 people.
