From May 10 to May 12, the Republic of Crimea will host the solemn stage of the All-Russian patriotic action “Let us bow to those great years.” More than 200 representatives of the student movement from 27 regions of Russia will participate.
The All-Russian labor patriotic action “Let us bow to the great years” is aimed at preserving and developing a patriotic attitude towards the heroic past of Russia among young people. Thanks to the campaign, young people take part in cleaning up territories, cleaning monuments and memorials, provide assistance to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, and also conduct open lessons about the significant events of the Second World War for the younger generation.
This year marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Crimea from fascist invaders, an important date for the peninsula. Students will take part in the forum to exchange experience in the patriotic education of youth and honor the memory of all Soviet soldiers who died and shed blood in the battle for Crimea.
Over the past 5 years, more than 3,000 student volunteers took part in the event in the Republic of Crimea. The forum is designed to help acquire new knowledge and competencies for carrying out actions in the regions of Russia.
Forum participants will receive a master class on making trench candles, which will then be given to participants in the Special Military Operation. Cleaning the adjacent territory of the Armored Tower Coastal Battery No. 35. There will also be a strategic session on the development of patriotic volunteerism using new methods that are relevant to modern times and the needs of the region.
