In Crimea, the management of a coffee shop will pay compensation for moral damages for an incident with a child in a playroom
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The decision of the Kirov District Court of the Republic of Crimea on compensation for moral damage from an individual entrepreneur in favor of a minor in the amount of 25 thousand rubles and the costs of paying for the services of a representative in the amount of 20 thousand rubles has entered into legal force.
A resident of Simferopol, acting in her own interests and the interests of her minor child, filed a lawsuit, the demands of which are motivated by the fact that in March 2023, the plaintiff, together with her 5-year-old son, visited a coffee shop located in the Kirovsky district of the Republic of Crimea, inside which housed a children’s playroom owned by the defendant. She sent her young son to the playroom, and she herself sat nearby, after which she allowed him to climb the slide and slide down to the bottom. But the landing was unsuccessful, since this structure was not equipped with an impact-absorbing coating. As a result of the fall, the child received an open head injurynoted the press service of the court.
The plaintiff estimated moral damage at 150 thousand rubles, material damage at 4823 rubles — this is the amount she indicated in the statement of claim.
In addition, the plaintiff asked to recover from the defendant the expenses she had incurred to pay for legal services that she had to incur in providing legal assistance in the amount of 45,000 rubles.
