In Evpatoria, a strong wind tore a roofing sheet from the roof of a nine-story building

Yesterday, at 13:10, the control panel of the operational duty officer «CRIMEA-SPAS» received information that in Evpatoria, as a result of a strong gust of wind, a roofing metal sheet on the roof of a nine-story residential building was torn from its fastenings, which could fall at any moment and cause harm to the health of others. Rescuers’ help is required. Employees of the Evpatoria emergency rescue team “CRIMEA-SPAS” were sent to the scene of the incident.

Upon arrival at the scene, rescuers, together with employees of the management company, climbed to the roof of the house. Using climbing equipment, rescuers went down to the balcony canopy and, using an entrenching tool, dismantled the torn sheet of metal and handed it over to the management staff— said the emergency department.
