In Yevpatoriya, a car was confiscated on a conviction for driving while intoxicated.
Evpatoria City Court delivered a guilty verdict in a criminal case against a local resident. He was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a vehicle by a person in a state of intoxication subjected to administrative punishment for driving a vehicle while intoxicated)the prosecutor’s office said.
During the trial, it was established that the man, while intoxicated, was driving a Geely MK car along Simferopolskaya Street in Evpatoria, where his illegal activities were stopped by traffic police officers.
The court, taking into account the position of the public prosecutor, sentenced the man to 100 hours of compulsory work with deprivation of the right to drive all types of vehicles for a period of 2 years. The Geely MK car belonging to the attacker was confiscated for the state.
