The fraudster spent the money obtained by criminal means for his own needs.— the details of the case were announced in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.
During the operational search activities, the police identified and detained the attacker, who fully admitted his guilt and repented of his crime.
Currently, the young man has been charged under Part 2 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud”.
The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to five years.
The damage caused to the victim has been compensated; a preventive measure in the form of a recognizance not to leave the place has been chosen against the defendant.
