Participants of Sevastopol student teams undergo free training

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Professional training for members of student teaching and construction teams in the areas of “counselor” and “painter” has started at Sevastopol State University. 90 student workers who will work at all-Russian and regional facilities will receive additional education before leaving for the summer work semester.

This year, as part of additional professional education, we will train 90 youth representatives of Sevastopol, who will then be able to work as part of student teams at regional sites: in children’s camps and at construction sites. By the way, this year for the first time, within the framework of a subsidy, we are training children from the construction sector, they will work as painters. Education gives the student the opportunity to master an additional specialty, complete a summer internship and lead a vibrant student life– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the Sevastopol Youth Affairs Department Marina Slonchenko.

The training will last two months: already in June, after passing the qualification exam, students will receive a state-issued certificate of profession as a worker.

Vocational training is an excellent and free opportunity to gain new knowledge and improve your skills. I expect interesting lectures, professional tutors and more new acquaintances from the training. Thanks to training, I hope to become more open, because openness is an important factor in working as a counselor.,” said Tager Hamdi, a student of the “counselor” specialty.

Russian student teams, together with the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, have been implementing a free vocational training program for the third year now. As part of the program, student team members have the opportunity to learn an additional working specialty for free and receive guaranteed summer employment in it. At the end of 2023, 38,436 people were trained in 130 professions.
