In Koktebel, the construction of treatment facilities was synchronized with the reconstruction of the embankment

In Koktebel, work on the reconstruction of the embankment will be synchronized with the construction of wastewater treatment plants in the village. This and other issues of development of the resort village were discussed at a meeting of the created working group under the leadership of Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Mikhail Nazarov.

Currently, the contractor is carrying out preparatory work outside the promenade part of the embankment, where construction and installation work will begin after the end of the high holiday season and will be synchronized with the construction of treatment facilities with a system of distribution collectors in the village. The collector will be laid in the “body” of the embankment.

The working group to consolidate actions included representatives of the deputy corps of the Feodosia City Council, the administration of Feodosia, the contracting organization «Investment and Construction Management of the Republic of Crimea», the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, as well as representatives of the tourism sector, the community of the village, and tourist attractions— reported the Ministry of Resorts of the Republic of Crimea.

Earlier, the construction of sewage treatment facilities in Koktebel was inspected by the Prime Minister of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk

As of today, the facility is about 60% complete. The WWTP capacity will be 5 thousand cubic meters. m/day, with promising development up to 10 thousand cubic meters. m/day. Work on the site is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2024,” said Yuri Gotsanyuk.
