In Sevastopol, 99 foreigners were brought to administrative responsibility. For what?

The offenses were identified during eight operational and preventive measures that took place in the city of Sevastopol.
The raids were attended by employees of the Directorate for Migration Issues and the Center for Combating Extremism of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol, together with the Russian FSB Directorate for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and the Russian FSB Directorate for the Black Sea Fleet. As part of the operation, construction sites in the city and places of compact stay of foreign citizens were inspected— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
Based on the results of inspections, 99 foreign citizens were brought to administrative responsibility, of which:
- for violation of migration registration rules under Part 1 of Art. 18.8 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation – 43;
- for violation of the regime of stay in the Russian Federation under Part 1.1 of Art. 18. 8 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation – 18;
- for failure to comply with the stated purpose of entry into the Russian Federation under Part 2 of Art. 18.8 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation – 1;
- for illegal work activities under Part 1 of Art. 18.10 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation – 5;
- for failure to comply with the deadlines for applying for a patent under Art. 18.20 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation – 32.
For the provision of residential premises to foreigners who are in the Russian Federation in violation of the established procedure or rules of transit travel, as well as for failure by the receiving party to fulfill obligations in connection with the implementation of migration registration under Art. 18.9 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, 13 Russian citizens were brought to administrative responsibility.
During the period of the events, three decisions were made to ban entry into the territory of the Russian Federation for foreign citizens subjected to deportation, 13 residence permits of a foreign citizen and one temporary residence permit in the Russian Federation were canceled.
During the verification of documents of foreign citizens, 8 migration cards with signs of forgery were identified. Based on these facts, checks are being carried out. In addition, based on the fact that four citizens of Central Asia provided forms for notification of the arrival of a foreign citizen or stateless person with signs of forgery, a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The Sevastopol police will continue to conduct raids aimed at identifying violations in the field of migration legislation.
