In Sevastopol, a drunken hooligan attacked an ambulance paramedic. The Russian Guard was nearby
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Sevastopol, employees of the Private Security Department of the Russian National Guard detained a drunk man who was throwing his fists at an ambulance paramedic.
At night, while making a detour along the patrol route in the area of Gorpishchenko Street, members of the crew of the detention group of the Private Security Administration noticed a man and a woman with obvious signs of alcohol intoxication. The drunk man repeatedly tried to pick up his companion, but fell with her onto the sidewalk. Employees of the Russian Guard, fearing for the life and health of citizens who were injuring themselves, could not move independently and, simply, could freeze on the street due to the low air temperature, drove up to them, calmed them down, and also called emergency medical care for drunk citizens. When the paramedic got to work, the bully came to his senses a little and began to insult and threaten the health worker and tried to hit her. Thanks to the presence of law enforcement officers, the conflict was averted— the details of the case were announced in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Guard for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (Sevastopol).
Subsequently, law enforcement officers identified the man. He turned out to be a 46-year-old local resident, and his companion was recognized by an ambulance paramedic. The medical worker told the National Guard that a few hours ago on one of the central streets, they had already encountered this drunken woman. Then, to provide medical assistance, emergency personnel took her to the 1st city hospital. There the woman was provided with medical assistance due to her state of severe alcohol intoxication.
To provide further assistance, the drunken hooligan and his companion were taken to the nearest medical facility by emergency personnel. Afterwards, they were handed over to the police.
