In Sevastopol, a criminal investigation has been completed against a local resident accused of a sexual offense against a 5-year-old child.
The investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia have completed the investigation of a criminal case against a 51-year-old resident of the Nakhimovsky district of the city of Sevastopol, accused of committing other acts of a sexual nature using the helpless state of the victim who has not reached 14 — years of age (clause «b» part 4 of article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
It was established that in the morning 26 of November 2022 of the year, a drunken resident of the hostel on Gorpischenko Street lured 5- year-old neighbor girl, whom he showed pornographic videos, and also committed other acts of a sexual nature. The girl’s mother, having discovered the absence of her daughter, began to knock on all the rooms, but only the neighbor who had the girl did not open the door. The woman, having rescued the child, immediately turned to law enforcement agencies , — the details of the grandfather were told in the Investigative Committee.
Employees of the investigative department for the Nakhimovsky district of the city of Sevastopol, forensic investigators, with the participation of a psychologist from the Main Investigation Department, promptly organized and carried out the entire complex of investigative actions in order to collect and consolidate the evidence base and provide assistance to the injured child.
At the request of the investigator, the court chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention for the accused, where he is currently.
The investigation of the criminal case is completed, a sufficient evidence base has been collected. The materials were sent to the prosecutor’s office in order to sign the indictment and then send the case to the court for consideration on the merits.
