For courage and heroism shown during the special operation, Russian servicemen were awarded many high awards. Medals, like feats, are different: the Zhukov medal, the Suvorov medal, the Medal «For Courage», the Order of Courage. One of the recipients is a participant in a special military operation, mortar gunner Vitaly Altukhov.
I made the decision to go to the zone of the special military operation on the first day. I was born, raised and lived most of my life in the Donbass, so the decision was unequivocal: I returned to the land where I grew up to protect it. Thanks to Russia, gave the order to recruit volunteers and call to account those who have been bombing Donbass for 8 long years— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes a soldier.
He shared that he had been to the special operation zone twice: the first time, as part of the Bars volunteer detachment, Vitaly was a shooter. The second time he already held the post of mortar:
You have to go to the end. If we stop, they will arm themselves like 8 years ago, strengthen, dig in. The enemy must be destroyed throughout the territory.
All the long months, the family was waiting and supporting the serviceman at home. In addition, support and assistance at the front is felt thanks to the work of volunteers.
Humanitarian aid helps a lot, they bring us everything we need. It’s nice to receive children’s letters and drawings: words of support written by a child’s hand inspire confidence that we are doing everything rightthe soldier said.
Recall that military personnel are provided with about 15 federal and regional benefits and guarantees, including those received by participants in the special operation: official housing or compensation for rental housing, life and health insurance, credit and tax holidays, additional benefits and guarantees of subjects of the Russian Federation, and others.
To enter military service under a contract, you need to prepare the following documents: an autobiography and a questionnaire (the form is posted on site), passport, military ID, education document, marriage and birth certificate.
