In Sevastopol, according to the materials of the prosecutor’s office of the Nakhimovsky district, a local resident was brought to administrative responsibility for inciting hatred and enmity on the Internet.

It has been established that in October 2022 of the year a woman, 1987 of the year of birth, posted a comment on the wall of an open group on the VKontakte social network, in which contained a negative statement in relation to a group of persons united on the basis of origin and territory of residence, aimed at inciting hatred and enmity. Based on the results of the check by the district prosecutor’s office, an administrative offense case was initiated against the woman under Art. 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity), — reported in the prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol.

By the decision of the Nakhimovsky District Court of the city of Sevastopol, the guilty person was sentenced to an administrative penalty in the form of a fine in the amount of 10 thousand rubles. Will the online «lesson» be useful?
