In Sevastopol, bailiffs seized the car of a Sevastopol resident for refusing to pay loan payments

CrimeaPRESS reports:

A resident of the city of Sevastopol, who took out a loan from one of the city’s banking institutions for a total amount of 1.5 million rubles as collateral for his car, failed to repay the debt within the terms established by the contract.

Representatives of the bank filed a lawsuit and after considering the case, the court decided to collect the amount of debt by foreclosure on the mortgaged property. Subsequently, employees of the bailiff department for the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol notified the debtor of the initiation of enforcement proceedings, but the latter was in no hurry to fulfill his debt obligations to his creditor,” the department’s press service announced details of the story.

In this connection, the bailiffs of the department went to the residence address of citizen B. and drew up an act of seizure of his car, warning the debtor that the seized vehicle would be transferred for evaluation and further sale to repay the existing debt on loan payments. Realizing the seriousness of the situation, citizen B. found the necessary amount and repaid the debt to the banking institution in full, transferring the funds to the deposit account of the bailiffs department.
