Training sessions on the basics of safe behavior with the help of interactive modules of the «Safety Laboratories» for students of educational institutions are conducted by employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol..
Traffic inspectors, teachers of the Center for the Prevention of Children’s Road Traffic Injuries and young traffic inspectors teach schoolchildren to distinguish between a regulated pedestrian crossing and an unregulated one, learn the algorithm for crossing the roadway, the designation of road signs, markings and traffic lights. Students also learn the rules for cycling and other means of individual mobility, the basics of safe behavior when getting on and off the bus, the importance of using child car seats and the use of reflective elements at night. In the practical part of the classes, schoolchildren in practice learn to cross the roadway on their own in compliance with the Rules of the Road , — the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol notes.
