In Sevastopol, in the area of ​​​​Kachinsky highway, an air bomb from the Great Patriotic War was found

An aerial bomb from the times of the Great Patriotic War, found near the Kachinsky highway in Sevastopol, was liquidated by the forces of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. The operation to destroy it was carried out by employees of the Specialized Detachment of the Sevastopol Emergency Department together with the engineering units of the Black Sea Fleet.

Representatives of relevant departments of the Government of Sevastopol, as well as emergency departments and services were involved in the organization of work, in carrying out related activities to ensure the safety of the population and infrastructure, — specified in the EMERCOM of Russia in Sevastopol.

A fifty-kilogram German-made aerial bomb SD-50 was discovered during earthworks in the area Sevastopol village Lyubimovka.

The main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol was transferred to the emergency mode. The department’s specialists analyzed all available data and related factors, and a complicating circumstance was also taken into account: the bomb was found in a zone of dense private development.

Communications located dangerously close to the site were previously disabled. Monitoring of the situation from the air was carried out with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. Through a mobile broadcasting and notification complex, residents of the nearest streets were informed of the need to leave the dangerous territory for the period of the events. They were taken by bus to the house of culture in the village of Fruktove, where leisure activities were organized, food and drink were prepared, and psychologists from the emergency department monitored the morale of the people. In total, the temporary accommodation center accepted citizens, including 8 children , — told the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol.

Colonel of the internal service Nikolai Tiselsky spoke about the specifics of the operation and what tasks were solved during it:

A decision was made on separate destruction. The first step was to remove the fuse itself. The second stage is the destruction of the bomb itself. The fuse was destroyed at the site of discovery, while the bomb was transported to the blast site, where it was also destroyed. All activities were carried out in compliance with safety standards.

Dangerous ammunition was eliminated by controlled detonation simultaneously with -th others discovered in the same period in different places in the region. In total, 32 people and 40 pieces of equipment, including those from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia 32 of personnel and 5 pieces of equipment.
