In connection with the increase by % of the subsistence minimum, from June 1, the amount of social benefits that depend on it also increases. Recalculation will be made automatically.

Monthly payments due to the birth of the first child will be automatically recalculated — the new benefit amount will be 14 279 rubles. In the same amount, families with children from 3 to 7 years old will receive an allowance with 14% approval of the payment. For those who received benefits in a smaller amount, payments after recalculation will amount to 998 rubles and 7 332 ruble respectively. Starting this month, families will receive these payments in an increased amount , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the social security department of the department of labor and social protection of the population Evgenia Pytko.

According to the specialist, the automatic recalculation of payments will affect more than thousand Sevastopol families.

For those who apply for payments for the first time, benefits will be assigned taking into account the increase in the living wage. But this does not apply to applications submitted in May.

If the application is submitted in May, eligibility will be determined by the cost of living that was in effect prior to June 1st. At the same time, the payment will be assigned in the old amounts for the period until June 1, and after — already in the increased , — notes Evgenia Pytko.

In addition, automatic recalculation of payments will be made for foster parents. This is due to the increase in the minimum wage to 14 rubles. The remuneration for foster parents raising one or two children will also increase to the minimum wage from June 1.

State social assistance on the basis of a social contract in the direction of «Job Search» is also subject to recalculation. Citizens who have concluded a social contract after March 1 2022 will receive payments in the new amounts automatically.

From June 1, benefits provided through the Pension Fund will also be indexed. This is a payment to women registered in the early stages of pregnancy, a monthly payment in connection with the birth (adoption) of a second child and a monthly cash payment for a child aged 8 to 17 years .
