In Sevastopol, on Victory Day, places of military burial are being put in order

On the eve of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the places of military burials will be put in order. This issue was discussed during the operational meeting chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

The Regional Control Center receives appeals on various military graves. All of them have been handed over to the work of the Parks and Squares institution and the department of urban economy. The governor also instructed to prepare an appeal on the possibility of putting the Zheleznyakov armored train in order and to prepare for cosmetic repairs. The object is not urban, it belongs to the Museum of Defense.

From 2020 to 2021, we have aligned 30 military graves, in 2022 — 5 graves, some of which are cultural heritage sites. This year, a number of events will be held at the Fraternal Cemetery of the soldiers of the 315th Infantry Division. The event is expected to be completed by the end of the year. In parallel, work is underway to clear the burial sites of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, including the cleaning of cemeteries, and said. O. Vice Governor Yevgeny Gorlov.

He also noted that on May 4, together with the search teams at the memorial complex of the village of Dergachi, events will be held to bury the remains of Soviet soldiers.
