In Sevastopol — regional qualifying round of the children's charity festival «Good Wave». When?

On June 10 and 11, Sevastopol will host a regional qualifying round of the All-Russian Cultural and Charitable Festival of Children’s Creativity «Good Wave» with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. In the Republic of Crimea, the organizers of the competition received more than 150 applications from children and teenagers.
The Kind Wave has been held on the Crimean peninsula for the third year in a row. In 2021 — in the city of Sevastopol, in 2022 — in the city of Simferopol. The cultural and charitable festival is attended by children and adolescents from 7 to 17 years old who are in a difficult life situation: orphans; disabled children; children with disabilities; children from families of refugees and internally displaced persons (LPR, DPR, etc.), etc. In 2023, there are three age categories: from 7 to 9 years old, from 10 to 13 years old and from 14 to 17 years old, and participants show their skills in three creative directions: vocals, instrument playing and choreography (including sign singing). The Kind Wave festival is held for the fifth year in a row. The main goals and objectives of the project: spreading a culture of kindness in modern society and promoting the development of a culture of charity, supporting young talents, creating conditions for communication and joint creativity between all festival participants, developing social and cultural ties between Russian cities.
The All-Russian cultural and charitable festival «Good Wave» was created in 2017 on the initiative of the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and People’s Artist of Russia, composer Igor Krutoy. It is held with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Good Kazan Foundation for Charity Development. The organizers of the festival are the Mayor’s Office of Kazan and the Academy of Popular Music. In the Republic of Crimea, the Kind Wave is held with the support of the Department of Culture of the city of Sevastopol and the Institute of the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the city of Sevastopol.
This year, Kind Wave is taking place in eight Russian cities. Regional qualifying rounds were successfully held in Kazan, Yaroslavl, Moscow, Krasnodar, Kemerovo, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk. The winners of all eight regional qualifying rounds will meet in Kazan in September 2023, where they will participate in the final qualifying round, and will also have the opportunity to perform at a gala concert on the same stage with the stars. All children participating in regional qualifying rounds are awarded diplomas of festival participants.

- Alexander Zinchenko, Honored Artist of Ukraine; soloist of the State Dance Ensemble «Black Sea»; choreographer and tutor of the Black Sea State Dance Ensemble;
- Vasily Yavkun, Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea; artistic director of the Music-ex group;
- Oleg Davletov, concertmaster of the percussion group of the Sevastopol Symphony Orchestra; arranger, composer, performer, founder and artistic director of the show «Davlet Khana»; laureate of international competitions and festivals; finalist of the «Minute of Glory» contest; winner of the «Vocation Artist» award in the «Legend Artist» nomination;
- Svetlana Bezlepkinaleading specialist of the office of the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the city of Sevastopol.

June 11 — a festive concert and announcement of the winners of the regional qualifying round in Sevastopol from 17:00 to 18:30

The Good Wave festival is primarily focused on strengthening friendly ties and promoting the creative development of gifted children in difficult life situations, including children with disabilities. Its tasks are to develop a culture of charity, support young talents, create conditions for communication between healthy children and children with disabilities; friendship and joint creativity of children with each other and guests of the festival.
In accordance with Decree No. 240 of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin, 2018-2027 has been declared the Decade of Childhood.
Throughout the year, professional master classes with the best teachers will be held as part of the festival. They will be conducted primarily online. Rutube channel «Good Wave» — so that as many children as possible can take part in the cultural and educational program of the project. Children and teenagers from any cities of Russia will be able to participate in master classes.
