In Sevastopol, the All-Russian Day of Running «Cross of the Nation» is announced. When and where?

On September 16, Victory Park will host the All-Russian Day of Running «Cross of the Nation». The event is implemented within the framework of the regional project «Sport is the norm of life» of the national project «Demography». The organizers of the competition are the Department of Youth and Sports with the support of the Department of Education and Science of Sevastopol.

The All-Russian Running Day has been held annually since 2004. The gathering place for participants, the start and finish of the distances is the territory near the monument to George the Victorious. Registration starts at 7:00— reported in the press service of the Government of Sevastopol.

Starts will be held at six distances: 500m, 1000m, 2000m, 3000m, 4000m and 6000m.

Competition program:

• 7:00 — 8:45 — registration of participants;
• 9:00 — 9:15 — grand opening;
• 9:15 — 9:30 — distribution of participants by starting pockets;
• 9:30 — start at a distance of 500 m without taking into account the time for participants in the age group: girls and boys born in 2014 and younger;
• 9:40 — start at a distance of 6,000 m;
• 10:00 — start at a distance of 500 m for participants in the age group: girls born in 2012-2013 and girls born in 2010-2011;
• 10:30 — start at a distance of 1,000 m for participants in the age group: boys born in 2012-2013 and boys born in 2010-2011;
• 11:00 — start at a distance of 2,000 m;
• 11:30 — start at a distance of 3,000 m;
• 12:00 — start at a distance of 1,000 m for participants in the age group: girls born in 2008-2009;
• 12:30 — start at a distance of 4,000 m;
• 13:00 — start at a distance of 500 m for participants: girls and boys with a lesion of the musculoskeletal system, with hearing impairment and with intellectual disabilities (without age restrictions and division by nosology);
• 13:30 — 14:00 — awarding the winners and prize-winners of the competition.

Within the framework of the competition, the testing center of the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex «Ready for Labor and Defense» (TRP) will operate to organize the fulfillment of the standards by participants in the competitions of the age group born in 2006-2007.

The following persons are allowed to participate in the competition:

• photocopy of passport or birth certificate;
• a photocopy of the CHI policy;
• doctor’s certificate;
• life and health insurance policy against accidents.

Nominal application can be submitted on September 16 from 7:00 to 9:00 at the venue of the competition. Over the past season, more than 30,000 students of educational institutions of Sevastopol became participants in the events.

The winners and prize-winners of the «Cross of the Nation» will be awarded sports cups, medals and diplomas of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.
