In Sevastopol, the heroes of the Northern Military District — an officer and a private — were carried out on their last journey with military honors
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Today in Sevastopol they said goodbye to heroic soldiers: the chief of staff of the 810th separate marine brigade of the Black Sea Fleet, guard Lieutenant Colonel Yan Sukhanov and guard private Artem Klyagin.
Yan Alexandrovich was born in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. In 2002 he graduated from the Far Eastern Higher Command School with honors. He was assigned to Sevastopol and served here all his life, rising from platoon commander to chief of staff and deputy commander of the 810th separate marine brigade. His colleagues say that he was honest, fair and a true officer with a capital letter. He served in both air assault units and reconnaissance. He has passed through hot spots, been on business trips to the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, and has many awards, including the Order of Courage. Since February 24, 2022, he was in the special operation zone in Ukraine. Under his leadership, the 810th Brigade took part in the battles for Mariupol and took control of Azovstal.said Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
He emphasized that the officer’s fellow soldiers always said that one could only dream of such a commander.
Yan Sukhanov was wounded in Mariupol. During treatment at a hospital in Moscow, doctors diagnosed another insidious disease that did not allow the body to cope with the injuries received.
Artem Eduardovich Klyagin was born and raised in Furmanovka, Bakhchisaray district. He received his profession at the Bakhchisarai College of Construction and Transport. In July 2022, he decided to go defend his homeland, like his grandfather, who went through the entire Great Patriotic War. The roots of the Klyagin family are in the long-suffering Donbass, in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. He couldn’t remain indifferent. Artem signed a contract and was sent to serve in the 810th Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet. When leaving, he told his mother: “I will return as a hero!” He died heroically near the village of Bezymennoye, Kherson region, saving the lives of his comrades, trying to evacuate the wounded from shellingsaid Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Everlasting memory! Let’s remember our heroes.
