In Sevastopol, the Safe City system helped the police detain three illegal migrants

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In Sevastopol, police officers, using the Safe City hardware and software complex, located and detained immigration law violators who were at a public transport stop.

Previously, the detainees had already been subjected to deportation in the form of an independent controlled departure, but they did not comply with the court decision and did not leave the territory of the Russian Federation.

In relation to three detainees, aged 25, 31 and 32, police officers drew up administrative protocols under Article 18.8 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses “Violation by a foreign citizen or stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation”— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.

Foreign citizens again brought to administrative responsibility for violations of migration legislation were subjected by the courts of the city of Sevastopol to punishment in the form of a fine and forced expulsion from the territory of the country.

Currently, offenders are placed in the Temporary Detention Center for foreign citizens subject to administrative expulsion from the Russian Federation, deportation or readmission, “DON” of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
