In Sevastopol, a facility for the treatment of municipal solid waste (MSW) with a processing capacity of 250 thousand tons per year will be built. The Russian environmental operator and the authorities of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation have agreed on joint participation in promising projects. The cooperation agreement was signed at the XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) by Denis Butsaev, Director General of the REO, and Mikhail Razvozhaev, Governor of Sevastopol.
The problem of municipal solid waste management is relevant for many regions. With a growing population, this issue has become more and more relevant for us. Together with the Director General of the REO Denis Butsaev, we carefully worked out a road map for the creation of a modern waste sorting, processing and disposal system in Sevastopol. The site will be the Pervomaiskaya Balka MSW landfill. Modern technological solutions will be used , — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The REO will consider the possibility of providing support measures for the implementation of a project for the creation and operation of facilities that handle municipal solid waste in Sevastopol, including through funds received from the issue of bonds of the PPC.
Signed an agreement with Mikhail Vladimirovich, which will expand cooperation on the implementation of projects in Sevastopol. It involves the creation of promising facilities in the field of MSW management on the basis of a concession agreement. Within the framework of the agreement, the REO will prepare projects for financing using the CPP support mechanisms. It is planned to build a complex facility for processing, recycling and disposal of waste with a processing capacity of 250 thousand tons. The total amount of investments is estimated at about 3 billion rubles , — notes Denis Butsaev, head of the PPC REO.
The agreement is aimed at creating promising facilities in the field of MSW management on the basis of concession agreements and the intentions of the PPK REO to finance the creation of promising facilities.
