In Sevastopol, as part of work to reduce water losses, 9.6 km of networks will be repaired this year. Today, during the operational meeting, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev instructed to pay special attention to areas where crossings for residents will be equipped.

Last year there were complaints about bypass crossings. If this year the bypasses are installed somewhere within the street and road network, the pedestrian one, arrange everything there in advance. Slopes should not be sharp, for residents it is necessary to make a convenient passage , the head of the city instructed.

As Evgeny Gorlov, director of the Sevastopol City Department, noted, work at the facilities will begin immediately after the selection of the contractor — a meeting of the commission will be held in the near future.

The list of networks has been compiled and approved with the Ministry of Construction. Overhaul works will save 2 000 cubic meters. m per day — these are the losses we have on these lines due to emergencies , — said Evgeny Gorlov.

According to him, in the 2021 year, 24 km of water supply networks were overhauled — the reduction in losses amounted to 1 000 cubic meters per day. Documentary acceptance of works is currently underway.
