In Sevastopol, they supported the referenda in the LPR, DPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions with a rally-concert

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Sevastopol residents gathered on Nakhimov Square to support referendums on joining Russia with the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Creative groups and performers of the city performed at the rally-concert.

Today is a historic day for our vast Motherland — Russia. Today is the first day of referendums in the Donbass, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions — this is a logical development of what began 8 years ago here in Sevastopol, on Nakhimov Square. Therefore, today Sevastopol residents could not but come to the place where a new page in the history of the city and the country began. And we are confident that our brothers and sisters in the liberated territories and in our fraternal republics will make their choice, and Russia will support them. Together we will become stronger, more confident and prove to the world that Russia is and will always be! By your presence here, you once again demonstrate all the values that we sacredly keep and in which we firmly believe: help, mutual assistance, friendship, true valor and true faith in our country and in our Hero City! , — Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev addressed those present at the rally-concert.

Also, the residents of the Hero City collected humanitarian aid — it will be sent to servicemen participating in a special military operation. The organizer was the volunteer headquarters «We are together — Sevastopol». In just one evening, we managed to collect about 300 kg. Sevastopol residents brought clothes, food, hygiene products and sweets that could please the soldiers. In addition, the youngest Sevastopol residents brought letters to soldiers who would also go with humanitarian aid — in total 130 letters.

We read on social networks that today the guys can bring things and send letters. The children immediately sat down to write. They have already sent letters to our soldiers, but they said they wanted to thank them again. We really hope that such small joys will help our guys achieve a great victory. History is being created before our eyes, but we cannot remain indifferent and just watch. Therefore, if you can do at least something, you have to do it , — says Tatyana, a resident of Sevastopol.

Recall that in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, referendums on joining Russia started today. Voting will last until 09 September. Residents of the liberated territories can also make their choice in Sevastopol — for this, four polling stations operate in the city.
