In Sevastopol, the police invited drivers convicted of repeated driving while intoxicated to a preventive event.

The action «Sevastopol for sober driving» was carried out by traffic police officers together with the penitentiary inspection of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol at a specialized city parking lot. It is here that vehicles are brought that have become participants in traffic accidents with tragic consequences , — said the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.

Against the background of broken cars, traffic inspectors told the audience about the most resonant accidents that occurred due to the fault of drunk motorists, and the participants of the event saw the results of these tragedies — drivers who were prosecuted for repeated driving while intoxicated, without isolation from society.

Drivers saw with their own eyes the consequences of accidents, traces of which were preserved outside and inside the cars: metal twisted and torn into pieces, dark brown spots on the upholstery and crushed glass. What they saw made an indelible impression on the participants of the preventive measure , the police noted.
