In Simferopol, a resident of the Krasnodar Territory was convicted of stealing money from an elderly woman. The trader was found guilty of committing a crime under paragraphs “a”, “c” of Part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft with illegal entry into a home on a large scale).
The court found that in June 2021, under the pretext of selling honey, the attacker entered the apartment of a 91-year-old resident of Simferopol. Then, having seen where the elderly woman was getting money from to pay for the purchase, she stole her savings in the amount of 797 thousand rubles,” the prosecutor’s office provided details.
One more thing: the woman was previously convicted of… embezzlement of funds under the pretext of selling honey.
The Kiev District Court of Simferopol, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the woman to a final punishment of 5 years in prison to be served in a general regime correctional colony. The victim’s claim for damages caused by the crime and compensation for moral damage in the amount of 500 thousand rubles was satisfied. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
