In Simferopol, another raid was held to curb illegal trade
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Simferopol, city authorities and police continue raids aimed at curbing illegal trade. Maxim Votchel, Head of the Department for Monitoring and Suppression of Unauthorized Sale of Goods and Provision of Services to the Administration of the Crimean Capital, spoke about the results of the next trip. According to him, raid activities to identify unauthorized trade are being carried out in all districts of the city. Unscrupulous traders are brought to administrative responsibility, and preventive talks are also held.
Joint trips with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are carried out weekly. In total, in 2022, about 400 kilograms of products were seized and about 2,500 protocols were drawn up under Article 6.1 “Sale of goods and services in places not designated for this” of the Law of the Republic of Crimea “On Administrative Offenses in the Republic of Crimea”. For the period January-February 2023, 350 protocols on spontaneous trade were drawn up— commented Maxim Votchel.
He also added that the sanction for the seizure of goods does not apply if the seller has not previously been involved in such a violation. In this case, a preventive conversation is held, the violator is indicated on the availability of vacant places in municipal markets, and information is also provided on ongoing agricultural fairs.
