In Simferopol, in the subordinate institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, convicts and detainees professing Islam were congratulated on the Eid al-Adha holiday.
During the celebration of one of the main Muslim holidays — Eid al-Adha — the Deputy Mufti for interaction with the Federal Penitentiary Service, the chief imam of the city of Simferopol, Mukhammed Islamov, and the assistant head of the regional Federal Penitentiary Service for organizing work with believers, Archpriest Roman Tsurkan, visited the correctional colony and pre-trial detention centers.
Hadji Emirali Ablaev and the entire Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. Also, according to tradition, they were given sweet gifts and sincere wishes.
