Simferopol Art Museum — «Pink Horse»

The Simferopol Art Museum, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, opened an exhibition of paintings, drawings and sculptures «Pink Horse».

The project is dedicated to contemporary art — the exposition presents many areas of art of the 20th-21st centuries: neo-privitivism, surrealism, symbolism, sezanism, fauvism, expressionism, abstractionism, conceptualism, cosmism, suprematism, cubism, pop art, — said in the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.

The exhibition displays 88 works, including works by Crimean artists Valery Golynsky, Ramazan Useinov, Dmitry Filov, Sergei Nikitin, Vladimir Pavlyuchek, Vladimir Boychenko, Pavel Matveev, Nikolai Dudchenko, Vladimir Filatov.

Deputy Director of the Simferopol Art Museum Svetlana Glazunova spoke about the history of the creation of the exhibition project and the richness of the collection of contemporary art in the museum’s funds. The authors of the presented works spoke at the event, noting the relevance of the exhibition, the originality and professionalism of the works.

The program of the exhibition includes a lecture «Neo-primitivism and a sense of humor in art», which will be held as part of the «Weekend Lecture Hall» cycle.

Visit the exhibition available until July 30th.
