Kolkhoznoe Balaklava district — apart from a small accompanying material, a broken German death medallion and shanks, nothing was found. But the group led by member of the headquarters of the Yalta-Pamyat PA, chairman of the YalKIR PA Anton Glukharev, carrying out search work in the region of the village of Oboronnoye, was lucky. The group discovered and exhumed the skeletal remains of a Red Army soldier.
As Anton Alekseevich noted:
Judging by the nature of the damage to the ammunition and the remains themselves, it can be assumed that he died during artillery shelling. But the main thing is that a spoon with the name “Lyubimov K.” was found with it. Now archival work is underway to establish the identity of the fighter. But be that as it may, there is one less unknown fighter.
