In the military units of the army corps of the Southern Military District (SMD) an exercise was held to repel the attack of sabotage groups of a mock enemy on the objects of military camps of formations and subunits stationed on the Crimean peninsula.

During the exercise, the duty units worked out the procedure for repelling the attack of «saboteurs» on the checkpoint of the military unit with the involvement of reinforcement units on armored personnel carriers BTR-82.

The personnel of the duty units and reinforcement units successfully coped with the task, met the standards for the collection and arrival at the designated place, as well as blocking the mock enemy , — the press service of the Southern Military District reports.

It is noted that exercises with duty units and reinforcement units of formations and military units are held regularly in order to increase the level of practical preparedness of military personnel for actions in a changing environment.
