In Simferopol, specialists from the public law company “Unified Customer in the Field of Construction” and a contractor completed monolithic work in two new dormitories for 250 and 450 places for the Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky.

The total area of ​​the two objects exceeds 13 thousand square meters. meters. To date, builders have completely completed the construction of building frames made of monolithic reinforced concrete and are completing the construction of walls made of foam concrete blocks. Builders also carry out roofing work, install modern ventilated facades, window structures and utilities— reported the press service of the “Single Customer”.

They also added that work is already being done inside the buildings to install floors, partitions and stairs. The construction readiness of the two dormitories is more than 40%.

The construction of two dormitories is planned to be completed in 2024. The new buildings will be equipped with residential, administrative and service premises, including accommodation for people with limited mobility.

The facades of the dormitories will be made in blue-gray and light gray colors with decorative elements highlighted in orange. The adjacent territory will also have sports grounds, open parking lots for guests, convenient passages and sidewalks.

Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky unites 13 institutes, 7 colleges and technical schools, and a number of research centers. The main specialties are medicine, construction, agriculture, tourism, archeology, etc. The total number of students at the university is about 30 thousand people.
