In two days, 10 members of Hizb ut-Tahrir were arrested in Crimea

Ten members of a cell of the international terrorist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami, banned in Russia, were arrested in Crimea in two days, it was reported TASS in the Kiev district court of Simferopol.
On March 5, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention for four supporters of the organization «Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami», and on March 6, a preventive measure was chosen for six members of this organization, of which five — in the form of detention for 1 month and 29 days, until May 4, and one was elected to house arrest for medical reasonsthe court was told.
The FSB conducted searches of members of the secret cell, seizing a significant amount of propaganda materials prohibited in Russia. According to the FSB, during the meetings “they spread terrorist ideology among the residents of the peninsula and recruited Crimean Muslims into their ranks.”
