CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Government of the Russian Federation reports «Sevastopol newspaper»has expanded the list of facilities that will be built in the next five years using federal budget funds under the “Construction” state program.

The updated list, signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Mikhail Mishustin, includes facilities that have been under construction for a long time, but new ones have also appeared. As part of the comprehensive state program “Construction” for 2024-2028, about 4.7 trillion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget for them.

Among the cultural objects added to the list are the reconstruction of the building of the Scientific Research Museum at the Russian Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg and the construction of the Sevastopol Academic Dance Theater named after V.A. Elizarov— reported the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The project of a new building for the Sevastopol Academic Dance Theater was developed and submitted for examination back in 2021. The construction of the theater was included in the Federal Target Program for the Development of Crimea and Sevastopol. The timing of its construction has now become clear. The document states that design and survey work is planned for 2026, more than 161 million rubles will be allocated for them. Construction is due to be completed in 2028. In 2027, 470 million rubles from the federal budget will be allocated for these purposes, and in 2028 — more than 3 billion rubles.

The list contains another item that is interesting for Sevastopol — “Objects of supporting infrastructure of the tourist and recreational cluster of cultural, educational and excursion tourism “Crossroads of Cultures”. The “supporting infrastructure” includes, inter alia, electricity, gas, heat and water supply networks. As well as bank protection works and improvement of public spaces. Sevastopol will be allocated more than 210 million rubles for these purposes in 2024, in 2025 — 18.6 million rubles, in 2026 — over 475 million, and in 2027 — almost 909 million rubles.

In general, the list contains a large number of Sevastopol facilities — a yacht marina, an oncology clinic, an infectious diseases hospital, the Yuzhnye WWTP, a scientific and training center for marine technology and underwater robotics, the reconstruction of the Omega children’s camp, the Nakhimovskaya electrical substation, roads, a siphon across bay and much more. Also from the federal budget they will provide money for “measures aimed at the national-cultural and spiritual revival of the Armenian, Bulgarian, Italian, Greek, Crimean Tatar and German peoples, as well as the social improvement of the territory of Crimea and Sevastopol.” In 2024, more than one billion rubles are provided for this.
