In Sevastopol, students and mentors will be paid for their internship. But not everyone

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Students of colleges and universities will receive a salary for internships at local enterprises in the direction of the Employment Service. The mentors will not be offended either.

1.7 million rubles will be allocated from the city budget this year to compensate for part of the costs of wages for students and mentors at Sevastopol enterprises undergoing internships in the direction of the employment service. This will allow 27 students and graduates of professional and higher educational institutions to undergo an internship— reported «Sevastopol newspaper» at the press service of the city Employment Center.

The mentor who will supervise students at the enterprise will be paid half the minimum wage. And the employer will be reimbursed wages with deductions for the time actually worked by the student.

Currently, two students from the Sevastopol Shipbuilding College are undergoing internships under the direction of the Employment Center. They work at Atla LLC, which repairs, modernizes and adjusts technological equipment for processing fish and krill raw materials. Young people will have an internship for two months under the guidance of an experienced mentor.

The Employment Center reminded that the employer provides internship vacancies on the “Work in Russia” portal. A fixed-term employment contract is concluded with students. They must study in this or a related profession.

The minimum wage in 2024 is 19,242 rubles.
