In Yalta, the prosecutor’s office approved an indictment in a criminal case against a local resident. He is charged under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).
According to investigators, in November last year, while intoxicated, during a conflict with his mother, the convict stabbed the latter several times in the chest area with a kitchen knife. The victim died at the scene from her injuries.— reported the Crimean prosecutor’s office.
The convict was promptly detained by internal affairs officers.
With the approved indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Yalta City Court for consideration on the merits. The punishment under the article is severe (up to 15 years in prison).
