In Yalta, a neurologist examines children with limited mobility at home

More than 50% of children with limited mobility, registered at the branch of the Federal Scientific and Practical Center of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia in Crimea, were examined at home by a neurologist in as part of the implementation of activities for dispensary observation. According to Irina Movchan, head of the children’s polyclinic, all children with limited mobility who are under dispensary observation in the Yalta city district and have profile diseases will be examined by a neurologist.
At the moment, in accordance with the approved schedule, more than 50% of patients have been examined. Electrocardiography is done for children to diagnose the functional state of the heart, biological materials are taken for laboratory research. If there are indications, additional consultations of specialized specialists are organized. This work is being actively continued, — notes Irina Movchan.
According to the specialist, in case of indications, the doctors of the branch promptly organize the issuance of prescriptions for preferential medicines for disabled children.
