In Yalta (after publishing a video of a violation on social networks), a driver was punished for driving “against the grain”

In Yalta, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate brought the driver to justice. A video posted on social networks helped find (and punish) the offender.
On a social network, a user complained about the driver of a Daewoo car, who grossly violated traffic rules. It was established that on February 18, 2024 at 09:16 at the address: Yalta, st. Museum, in the area of house 24, the driver was driving in the opposite direction on a one-way road, which created a risk for a possible traffic accident. Employees of the Yalta State Traffic Inspectorate conducted an inspection and identified the offender. He turned out to be a local resident born in 1977— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Administrative material has been drawn up against the violator under Part 3 of Art. 12.16 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Failure to comply with the requirements prescribed by road signs or road markings). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of a fine in the amount of five thousand rubles or deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of four to six months.
