In Yalta, at least 13 more families of the former Zvezdochka summer hotel will move to new housing this year
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The head of the Yalta administration, Yanina Pavlenko, informed about the process of resettlement of the former summer hotel “Zvezdochka”:
11 families from Zvezdochka will move to the Cherry Orchard residential complex this year. Another apartment (at the request of the resident) was purchased in the village of Mirnoye, Simferopol district, and the orphan child will move to the White Sail residential complex.
According to the head of the Yalta administration, the process of resettlement of the building, which for decades became a terrible home for Yalta families, has intensified since 2021 after it was transferred to the status of an apartment building and declared unsafe.
This made it possible to begin resettlement not only of the families of deportees, for whom a house will be built on Kirov, 159, but also of those who do not belong to the category. The first 5 families have already left the walls of “Zvezdochka” — we are acceleratingnotes Yanina Pavlenko.
In turn, the head of the housing policy department, Diana Khakimova, clarified that work is being carried out in several directions at once.
We identify abandoned housing, which we subsequently assign to the municipality, escheated apartments, and conclude investment agreements with developers. We also plan to include Zvezdochka residents in the new Regional Targeted Program for Resettlement from Dilapidated Housing — its approval is scheduled for 2025, — says Diana Khakimova.
