They will give more: from February 1, more than 40 social payments and benefits will be indexed

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin reports «Russian newspaper», signed a resolution on the indexation of more than 40 social payments and benefits from February 1. They will be increased by 7.4%.

The fulfillment of social obligations to citizens is fully provided for by the federal budget, — the head of the cabinet emphasized at the meeting.

The decision will affect about 20 million people. All of them should receive the required funds, Mishustin indicated. The list for indexation includes payments to disabled people and veterans of the Great Patriotic War and military operations, Heroes of Russia, Heroes of Labor. Separately, the prime minister drew attention to social support for families with children who receive one-time benefits at the birth of a child and monthly benefits for their care.

The amount of maternity capital will increase: from 586.9 to 630.4 thousand rubles at the birth of the first child, and for the second and subsequent children — from 775.6 to almost 834 thousand rubles. If the family has already spent part of the maternity capital, its balance will be indexed.

Mikhail Mishustin recalled the decree signed by the president on large families. It establishes the legal status and basic social guarantees at the federal level.

Now parents with three or more children will be able to receive equal support throughout the country, regardless of their region of residence, said the head of the Cabinet. — It will be valid until the eldest child turns 18 years old or 23 if studying full-time in an educational organization.

In addition to benefits and payments, parents will be able to undergo professional retraining for free, and families will have free access to museums and exhibitions. Additional benefits will be offered by the regions of the country — for example, for the provision of medicines to children under six years of age, discounts on housing and communal services, and a number of others.

Dear colleagues, all provisions of the decree must be implemented promptly. I also ask you to carefully monitor how it is implemented. Families, especially large families, should receive maximum care from the state— Mikhail Mishustin ordered.
