In Yevpatoria, a local resident was convicted of stabbing a friend twenty (!) times with a knife.
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A resident of Yevpatoria was found guilty of committing a crime under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of minor harm to health, committed with the use of an object used as a weapon).
The court established that a conflict arose between the defendant and his acquaintance after drinking alcohol. The attacker, taking a knife, inflicted at least 20 blows on the opponent’s hands and forearm. The wounds inflicted on the victim resulted in minor harm to health.— said the prosecutor’s office.
An important detail: both persons were intoxicated during the domestic conflict. Maybe that’s why everything turned out so relatively easily?
The court was also not too strict with the “knife master.” The man “earned” imprisonment for… 4 months, serving his sentence in a maximum security penal colony.
